WELCOME TO NOMMY MOMMY FOOD!
HEY! Thanks for visiting my page! My name is Olivia, I have had many blogs in the past, but this one I hope will be a very special one, that solely focuses on meals, cooking, and food for busy Moms and Dads, to help you learn how to balance you and your families diet. This page will reach a broad range, of easy meals, more complicated meals, meals that are healthy, economical and make a lot of food or a little food depending on your brood.
I used to have a page called The Mother Dome, and I did a lot of recipes and other mom related articles, but this one will ONLY focus on meal preparation, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle with what you eat.
Many of my meals DO have meat and dairy, but I will offer a variety of vegan, pescatarian, gluten free, alternatives for most of the meals to help you feel less limited in the things you are eating.
Eating is ALL about balance in my opinion. I have explored so many kinds of diets, some for lengthy periods of time. I have explored gluten free eating, went full vegan for about six months of my life, tried a pescatarian diet for a long stretch of time. So lets just say I have a wealth of knowledge on diet. Without some fancy dietician degree, I have done a lot of research on nutrition and overall health.
Last year I wound up getting Shingles, much of that was because my diet was not balanced the right way.
Everyone’s body is different, and responds differently to a variety of foods.
If you have health complications, food makes a big difference in many areas of life.
I have two mottos when it comes to food, “food is love” and “what you are is what you eat”
Getting the best ingredients you can afford can be a very big step! But not all families can afford all organic all the time, and sometimes it’s impossible to even find organic options at all where you go for food... Do not worry! I will show you a combination of ideas, from organic to non organic.
I do NOT do ONLY organic meals... sorry... but this is the real world, and I am real hard working Mom, who doesn’t always have the money to splurge splurge and splurge on every luxury my family deserves. So I do my best, sometimes I get the organic and sometimes, I don’t... Cause life isn’t perfect, the world isn’t perfect, so we can only do our best.
I will show you how I do MY best, to make sure my family gets a good balanced diet each day. I am in the process of putting many recipes together and plan to start a YouTube page for people with Live tutorials on many recipes I will post on here so you can read and do the recipe at the same time!!
